Alphan Nu Omega Fraternity welcomes you. As parents you are concerned about your student. His personal goals, his spiritual well-being and his social interaction with his peers. We at Alpha Nu Omega offer a diverse background covering over 30 years of self motiviated individuals willing to help the new fledging member toward his future. Personal attention is first introduced during the pledge period. He works closely with his big brother. Learning how the fraternity works, operates and acclimated to the campus lifestyle. He will be no doubt be challenged by his academic studies. Being diverse, we have almost every discipline within the university structure. Our members include, engineers, music, science, art, humanities, law, just to name a few.
Founded in 1969, Alpha Nu Omega leads most of the other fraternities in activities
such as Christmas on Campus, intramural sports, and social events. Our alumni
are second to none. The alumni are constantly around, willing to give advice,
to mentor and to guide the student on their path of life. We also have a faculty
advisor, which also works one on one with the student through guidance and support.
With more than 500 alumni, Alpha Nu Omega is big enough to offer the diversity
and resources available at a larger fraternity with the accessibility and personal
attention you'd expect with a small fraternity. Your learning experience starts
with pledging. Pledge Classes are small, with an average class size of 8 to
10.
What student learns during pledging is connected to the world beyond campus, and what they learn outside the classroom is tied to academics. Participating in service-learning projects, they are introduced to other disciplines, other students from different backgrounds and are then able to put their experiences to good use, as well as prepare him for the real world.
At Alpha Nu Omega, we encourage every brother to develop his character, that will prepare him for lives of personal and civic responsibility.
